I like Emmy Ameh Praise's YouTube video because I have never supported Trump since the beginning of his campaign, and Emmy shows valued information on his reasons. Emmy is a small time You Tuber that occasionally submits a video on what he finds interesting. There is no real audience than whoever watches those videos.
I can relate to some of the problems that he talked about in the video as well. I grew up on a farm in South Dakota and can contest to some of the facts he said. "One in three farmers in the Country are illegal immigrants." I will acknowledge that the estimate is true, as nobody would like to be a farmer and have hard work with long hours for low pay, when you could work at a McDonald's for similar pay.
"Undocumented illegals are not eligible for social security, medicare, earned income tax credit, food stamps, well fare." Those are all true. As they are illegal if the government finds them they will be immediately deported, and cannot lay claim to any of those benefits. They pay taxes like all other Americans, but get no benefits from those taxes.
You may also ask how the government doesn't find them all. That is because they know how much it will hurt our economy if they do find them all. If Trump gets into office, the rest of the government would never allow him to do such acts with his positions authority.
Throughout the video Emmy proves several of his statements by using actual surveys, trustworthy media articles, and research centers. These statements can be proven. At the end of the video he says "This video isn't to necessarily get you to not vote for Donald Trump, we don't care about that. We just want you to think for yourself." He just wants us to know some of the facts that he has found throughout his research into Trumps claims, and not discouraging us in our decisions. He wants us to decide ourselves what we want.

You do well at really breaking down your reactions to the video and its contents -- genuine analytical thinking here!
ReplyDeleteIf you had space between your paragraphs, the reading of this would be even easier. Also, you could explain why Praise is a credible rhetor -- that is, what qualifies him as an expert on this subject.
I find it interesting that multiple blogs are posting about Trump. Even a person that says he is not a Trump supporter.
