Letter to Ann Eliza

Dear Ann Eliza

I have read your letter and shall answer your curiosities. In the future we often do not use letters anymore. Letters are mainly used for special occasions like a birthday card, get well card, letters to Santa, or a congratulatory card. Instead we use something called social media instead. Social media is very large and diverse system where we can send our messages without paper. I know it may sound crazy, but the future is very different. These messages travel through the internet to all sorts of people, be it friends, children, foreigners, politicians, family, and many more.

One of these social media centers would be Facebook. Facebook is where you can send messages between all sorts of people. You can often use it to keep in touch with those close to you from far away distances. The messages are also able to contain pictures as well if you want to show them some great events. The pictures are taken instantly with certain items as well so you won't have to take several hours to make one either.

Another would be Twitter. Twitter however is mostly used for small messages as it has a maximum of 140 characters used for each message. This will make it so that you can't tell a story, or letters. It is more of a small notice sent to other people. An example would be "Just finished taking care of the kids, they had lots of energy." This may show others that you are being dutiful in your duties as a mother, and that they are growing up healthy to others.

Next are the blogs. You may notice that these names are very strange, but the just got popular and were accepted eventually. Blogs to me are more of a place to send and share your opinions with other people that you probably don't know. These messages are view able by anyone with access to the internet. You can use these to promote certain ideas and gain supporters while communicating with other people about the subjects of your messages. It is very useful for many things.

If I were to warn you about anything you should look out for it would be how much you tell others about yourself. It is one thing to tell your friends in person another to tell strangers information about yourself. They may somehow use this information against you, but you may also use a different name as well. You also shouldn't make these messages all that you do with your friends. You should still meet up with them.

I hope that this information helps you a lot.

Sincerely,

Chris Howe

The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim Special Edition Destruction Spell Tips

The destruction spells are the main combat spells in Skyrim. There are three different elements that you use for these spells which are fire, frost, and shock. Each of these types are more effective against certain opponents, so know your enemies well. These spells ignore armor so they are very effective against them at medium, and long range.

Perks of the different elements.

Fire - This element will deal extra damage against enemies by lighting them on fire. It is mostly effective against trolls, and most enemies. There is a perk that will cause the enemy to flee on low health allowing you to chase them down to finish them off. This type of spell are also the cheapest to use.Flame atronachs are immune to these spells.

Frost - These spells will slow enemies down, and drain their stamina. They are most effective against close range melee fighters. There is a perk that will paralyze an enemy when their health is low allowing you to easily finish them off. This type of spell has average cost. Ice wraiths, and frost atronachs are immune to this element.

Shock - This element will drain the enemies of their magicka pool with every hit. This may not seem as powerful as the other two however the in long distance combat with moving targets this is very helpful. The spells are almost instantaneous so moving enemies will be a lot easier to hit. There is a perk that when an enemies health is low enough these spells will instantly kill them. This type of spell is the most expensive. Storm atronachs are immune to these spells.

Dual Casting - One of the best way to play with the destruction spells is to dual cast. You will cast two of the same spell at the same time to make an even stronger spell. You will have to spend a perk point to unlock this play style. Later you will be able to also stun an enemy with these spells. If the stuns are timed correctly you will be able to stop melee fighters from advancing on you, or stop you opponents attacks.

Rune spells - These spells are a trap spell. Before or during battle you will place a rune on the floor and lure an enemy to step on the rune spell. There is a rune spell for each element so you don't have to be picky with the type. These spells will however disappear after a certain amount of time has passed. This means that you can't set up a ton of runes down a hallway and lure the enemies to certain death.

 Warnings!

If you run out of magicka you won't be able to cast a spell. Use a potion or retreat from enemy to recover magicka.
There are perks to reduce the cost of spells by half at certain levels. Wait until you can get this perk before you move onto the next rank of the spell.
Depending on the games difficulty level there is friendly fire. If you attack a companion traveling with you they will attack you. This makes it especially difficult with the spells that have area damage.
Tips!
You can use enchanted equipment to reduce the cost of your spells, increase your magicka pool, and raise your magicka regeneration rate.
If you raise your enchanting enough you could make enough equipment to reduce the cost of your destruction spells to 0. This means you don't have to worry about your magicka and blast your enemies to bits.
The element that you use the most will have reductions in magicka cost, and deal more damage. There are bonuses to sticking with one element.
I recommend the shock element in the later stages of the game. If you follow the enchanting advice you won't have to worry about the extra costs, and it will be easier to hit enemies.

I hope that you enjoy the info and tips.

The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim Special Edition One Handed Weapons Tips

This is a post about the ups and downs of one handed weapons in Skyrim along with some of my personal opinions. One handed weapons are the most flexible weapons in the game. The main reason being that they will only take up one hand and you can use the other hand for something else.

Main differences between one handed weapons.

Swords- Swords are the second quickest one handed weapon and deal the second least amount of damage. However they can make up for it with perks that can increase the chances of getting a critical hit. A critical hit will will multiply the damage of that hit by a certain amount.

War Axes- These deal the second highest amount of damage, but are slower than swords. The perks for this weapon will have the opponent accumulate more damage through bleeding. This will cause damage over time and is good for dealing with long battles.

Maces- Maces deal the most damage and are the slowest among the one handed weapons. However the perks for this weapon will allow you to ignore a certain amount of the enemies armor. This is especially useful against heavily armored opponents.

Daggers- Daggers are the quickest weapons, but have the lowest damage in battle. There are no specific perks for this weapon in the main perk tree, but there are great perks for it in the sneak tree. These perks will multiply the damage of the daggers with sneak attacks a great many times, but are useless in combat. This works best in surprise attacks against a single enemy.

Possible combinations.
One handed weapon plus a shield. By doing this you can add additional armor to yourself reducing the physical damage you take. You will also be able to use the shield as a weapon for minor damage, blocking your enemies attacks, and stunning the enemy. However this combination will take more personal skill to be effective.
One handed weapon plus a healing spell. By doing this you can be a very effective tank in the game. You will be able to confront an enemy close range and when you are low on health pull back slightly and heal yourself. There is also a perk in the restoration skill tree to recover your stamina with these spells. This will allow you to do more power attacks in battle.
One handed weapon plus another one handed weapon. With this you will be able to perform quicker strikes and raise the damage you deal to your enemies. However you lose the ability to block attacks in doing so.

One handed weapon plus an empty hand. This is not something I would recommend. You will be able to block with your weapon, but this is inferior to blocking with a shield. Nothing exceptional with this.
One handed weapon plus an attack magic. You will be able to deal damage to your enemies from a distance until you reach them and can attack them with your weapon. This can be effective and may vary depending on the enemy. Some enemies are immune to certain spells so you may have to switch between spells. This will take longer.
One handed weapon plus a mix of the above combinations. This is what I recommend the most. You can switch between dual wielding two one handed weapons for more damage, and retreat to heal yourself when your health is low. You will have a strong attack and will be hard to kill. You just have to time your retreats right so that you have enough time to heal yourself. You may also do a different combination.

As I said earlier one handed weapons offer the most freedom in your attacks depending on how you like to play. I hope you like the info.

The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim Special Edition Enchanting Info

Enchanting is the crafting branch for magic in Skyrim. With enchanting you add an ability to a weapon, armor, or jewelry item. It offers the most flexibility with how you play among the crafting skills. There are a great amount of different enchantments that can enhance the way you prefer to play the game. In my opinion it is the best crafting skill to have in the game.

There are five requirements that you need to fulfill to enchant an item.
          1. You must use an enchanting table to be able to enchant an item.
This means you can only enchant an item at limited spots.
          1.An unenchanted item.
An item can only be enchanted once and must be empty to be enchanted.
          2. You need an enchantment that suits the item.
Each type of item that is wearable can only have certain enchantments placed on it.                               You will not be able to put an enchantment with fire damage onto a ring.
The highlighted enchantments the ones that you may put on an item.
          3. You must already know the enchantment.
To learn an enchantment you must destroy an enchanted item that has the same                                     enchantment already on it.
          4. You need a soul gem to make an enchantment.
The stronger the soul gem the stronger the enchantment.

Enchanting skill perks tree, and my opinion on the perks.

This perk will increase the strength of your enchantments by 20% for each point given to the perk. I would always get this perk as it will always be worth the point.

The fire enchanter perk is useful as it boosts the strength of your fire related enchantments like your fire damage, and fire resistance. The fire resistance is very useful against dragons with flame breath, and most enemies.

The frost enchanter perk will boost the frost damage enchantment on weapons and can increase your frost resistance. Useful against the melee fighters, and dragons with frost breath.

The Storm enchanter perk isn't one that I would always recommend unless you want to put shock damage on a bow. The shock damage will have half damage to enemy magicka, but mages don't wear armor so it won't make a noticeable difference in battle if you are a melee fighter. There are no dragons with shock breath, and it is rare for a mage to use shock magic.

Skill enchantments are useful as they can increase the skill level of a skill tree when worn. It will not enable you to unlock perks at the increased level, but adds additional damage to the attacking skill trees, and additional armor to the defensive skill trees. With crafting it increases effectiveness of the items created. This can also increase the effects of the enchantments that can reduce the cost of certain spells. If you have several items with said enchantment you could reduce the cost of some spells to zero. Very useful for a mage.

The corpus enchanter is one of my favorite perks because of the skills it can increase. For a melee fighter a person wielding an enchanted weapon to absorb an enemies health makes you very hard to kill. The enchantment will add additional damage to your weapon and return the same amount of damage the enchantment dealt to your own health. It can also increase the enchantments that add additional health, magicka, or stamina to yourself, as well as their own regeneration.

This perk will enable you to add two enchantments onto an item instead of one. This can double the effectiveness of your enchanting if used properly. You can't put on two of the same enchantment on the same item though.

This perk is good for recharging the weapons which have enchantments on them. Every time you hit an enemy with an enchanted weapon the weapon will lose some of it's charge. When the weapon runs out the enchantment will not work any more until recharged. Armor enchantments are all passive so you don't have to worry about re-enchanting your armor.

I don't believe that this perk is worth the point. The stronger the creature the larger it's soul is, but it will also take more hits until the creature is killed. 5% is usually not enough to even to amount of energy used fighting the creature, but will still help none the less.

Secret Info
If you like using the alchemy craft you could also make a loop for improving your enchanting. First you will need to make an item that has the enchantment to improve the potions you make. Then you use it to create an enchantment improving potion. You will then use the potion and create another item to improve your potions and make another enchantment improving potion. You can repeat this cycle until you have an unbelievably high enchantment improvement potions. Which you can then use to create other enchanted items. This is however an expensive process that will take time. You will also have to work on a timer as the potions only last about a minute every use.

One last think that you should know is that the stronger the enchantment on the item that you disenchanted to gain said enchantment. The stronger your own enchantment will be. There is an example below.
These two enchantments are increased by the same perks. However because the absorb health enchantment I learned was weaker than the absorb stamina enchantment I learned it from, the weaker the enchantments I make. You should disenchant strong enchantments to get really strong enchantments.

I hope you like the info. =)

The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim Special Edition Lost Legends Walk-through

This is a walk-through of a quest in Skyrim called Lost Legends. It is one of the longer quests in the game where you have to go through several dungeons and fight difficult bosses to gather a quest item. In the end of the quest if you succeed you will get a rare enchanted amulet. The amulet is called "The Gauldur Amulet" which when worn will raise your magicka, health, and stamina by 30 points each. In the game even if you raise your enchanting to the max level you are only able to put on two different enchantments unless you use unnatural means. This can be a very valuable item for the most of the game.

To start the quest you will have to find Folgunthur in the swamps near Morthal, or read the book Lost Legends.
Once you enter the dungeon you will find a room with adventurers and draugr corpses. Continue to advance and slay the draugr until you find a dark elf mage called Daynas Valen.

He will have an Ivory Dragon Claw that you can use to drop the bridge and continue to advance. You should also read his journal or you will have to come back and read it later.
After slaying more draugr you will find several switches to lift a series of gates. All of the handles will need to be facing up except for the back right switch as shown below.
You will then come to a room with another puzzle. In the right room you will find the clue to the left rooms puzzle. You just have to make both sides match in the same order.
When entering the room the order will be snake,
 fish/whale,
 and eagle.
After you descent the stairs you will find locked wall, which you will unlock with the Ivory Dragon Claw you found earlier. The code is on the underside of the claw, which you can look at in your misc items.
After that you will come to a large room and you will have to fight a boss. The boss is a melee fighter, however his sword has a weak health absorption enchantment. You will also have to fight off various draugr that spawn during the fight. I recommend ranged attacks to keep a distance from him.
After you have defeated him you may retrieve the first quest item from the boss.
At the end you will also find a Dragon Wall which will contain a word for frost breath.
Afterwards you will have to travel to Saarthal to get the next quest item.
However the door will be locked.
To unlock the door you will have to join the mages college in Winterhold. The quest to unlock the door will be the second quest you receive from the college. The first is just a small tour of the college.
Once you have the quest you will be able to enter Saarthal.
During the quest you will be asked to find several enchanted item in the ruins.
If you have the quest marker on it will be easy to find the items.
When you remove an amulet from a wall you will be trapped. To get yourself out you will need to put on the amulet you got off the wall.
You will then see the same wall emit a flame like aura.
You will then have to hit the wall with a flame spell. You start the game with a flame spell, so you don't have to worry about not knowing a flame spell.
After you enter the next room you will see a monk from the Sigic Order. He will basically tell you that you have now caused a chain of events that will unleash a great power. It is basically now your responsibility to stop it.
You will then be swarmed by some draugr, and find some more in the next room.
To move onto the next stage you will pull the chains connected to the big heads to move on.
Be careful of the fire runes trap in the next room. Draugr will also start attacking you. A simple spell, or arrow can also set it off.
Afterwards you will then come to another puzzle. The correct animal is located behind all of the switches. Make sure they all match.
There will then be two lightning runes in the hallway to the next room.
After fighting more draugr there will be another puzzle. This one is the same as the last, except that the podiums will move depending on the order turn them first. When entering the room the proper order will be
 far left,
 close left,
 far right,
 and close right.
Once they all match the animal behind them you will flip the switch in the center and find the boss room.
The boss will be invincible at first so just run away at the beginning. Once the boss stops glowing you can attack it. Continue with hit and run tactics when he is glowing until defeated. His weapon will have an absorb magicka enchantment. I had to do a lot of running. :[
Once defeated you can grab the next quest item.
In the treasure room you will find another word of power for ice form.
Now you will have to go to Geirmunds hall.
It is right next to the town Ivarstead.
In the hall you will have to enter a hole.
Once you jump down you won't be able to get back out until the quest is over. I recommend to save before just in case.
The first puzzle you come to is rather confusing. The proper sequence is rather confusing as instead of a square in which they are usually placed, in is shaped more like an L.
Instead I will just name off what you switch toward you in the order that you find them in.
 It is bird,
 fish/whale,
 snake,
 and finally fish/whale again.
in the next room you will fight some more draugr, and learn more about the quest.
There will be a key next to the note to unlock the door. If you don't want to use the key you could unlock it yourself with the lockpicking skill.
The next lever you activate will be a trap.
To find the right lever stand right next to the first lever and turn around. It will be hiding in the wall in a blind spot.
You will then enter the boss room. This boss will be an archer with a stamina absorption enchantment.
The boss will constantly conjure up copies of itself in battle. These copies will be destroyed with a single hit, but all of their damage is the same. This will be a hard fight for a close range fighter, as you will lose stamina, and health quickly. This will continue until the boss is defeated.
You may then retrieve the quest item.
These absorb stat weapons are rare and I suggest taking them to disenchant for learning to enchant other weapons yourself later.
Now you will have to go to a cave called Reachwater Rock near Markarth.
The cave will be behind a waterfall.
In the cave take the Emerald Dragon Claw to unlock the first wall.
For the dragon claws the proper order is always on the underside of the item.
Once you have the proper sequence you may unlock the door.
Lots of walls will unlock in succession.
Then you will have to use the Ivory Dragon Claw you found in the first dungeon to unlock the last wall.
Now comes the big boss fight.
During this fight you will have to face all three bosses you fought earlier, however they will all be a lot stronger. I estimate each individual boss will be at least twice as strong. You will be trapped inside the room and have to fight each one consecutively.
They will all be the same except for the last one. Instead of gaining temporary invincibility it will instead summon a frost atronach. As all these three fights will be in succession it will be a hard battle.
Once you have won the epic battle you will be able to claim your prize.
An amulet that is a combination of all three quest item you retrieved earlier all in one.
On the way out you will also find a small treasure trove as a bonus.
I hope you like this walk-through.
