The special menu only becomes available when the summer and fall rushes end while the winter months begin. Thus the meals aren't available year round. When Lockport does have the special menu up it is one random meal selected at the beginning of the month for a low price during the weekdays. The price is only at 6.00 dollars!
Now how many of you are wondering what makes the special menu special. That is because they are all homemade recipes that you usually wouldn't find anywhere in the area and are limited in number. That is right they only prep about 5-10 meals a day.
With that said today I had one of their specials today on November fourth which was a Chicken Philly Basket. They have good chicken sandwiches, but this Philly topped them all. It was the same chicken, but seasoned in a different way with a creamy sauce with a few vegetables mixed in, and swiss cheese. It was only six dollars!
Now if I were you I would watch out for Lockport if you are passing by. During this time of the year there aren't many tourists in the area and most of the special meals go to the tourists. However it is nice to come up because there are no tourists, no bugs, cool temperatures, no snow, and hunting season. Drop by and ask about the special menu during your trip on the northern shore of Lake Superior.
